UConn leads 31-21 at the half

The Huskies need to come out strong to start the second half.  They have a bad habit of letting the opposing team right back in at the start of the second half.

Hard to believe the Huskies are leading in rebounds 21-19 — to me, it seems like they’re getting killed on the boards, even with Harrellson on the bench with 2 fouls.  Kentucky crashed the boards on one of the last possessions, with Eloy Vargas coming up with 2 offensive boards.

Is it me, or has Brandon Knight been able to turn the corner about any time he wanted…

Scary when Oriakhi went down hard, and didn’t return for the free throw.  I think the announcer said he was bleeding, and couldn’t come in until the bleeding was stopped.

I didn’t like the last two shots of the first half for the Huskies.  Coombs-McDaniel had an open jumper, but didn’t look set.  Jeremy Lamb should not have taken the shot with 7 seconds remaining — the clock differential was about 1 second.  The Huskies should have held for 1.  Kentucky had a good attempt for a 3 to close the half.
