Kadeem Jack Makes His Choice…

…and it’s South Kent prep school.

Jack is the player that at one point had UConn on his short list before deciding to attend South Kent.  With the transfer of the Wear twins from North Carolina, and with some doubt that Terrence Jones would attend Kentucky, Jack had become a hot recruit, and he was reconsidering taking a year at prep school.

Here’s hoping that UConn will move to the top of Kadeem Jack’s list after playing a year at prep school in Connecticut.

My guess is that this was not completely Jack’s decision.  Kentucky has no need for him since signing Terrence Jones, and UNC just landed Justin Knox, a transfer from Alabama.  Knox will be eligible to play right away as a graduate transfer, though the word is that he needs to complete some coursework over the summer.

As an aside, it’s hard to believe that Knox will have a huge impact for the Tar Heels, after averaging  only 6.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in 19.8 minutes per game.
