Cleveland Melvin to Announce Today?

I’m hearing rumors that former UConn recruit Cleveland Melvin will announce his decision today.  If not today, it will need to be soon, as the signing period ends on the 19th.  There are evidently ways around signing by this date, but I do not think he has enough clout to be playing games with the rules.  Brandon Knight has not signed a Letter of Intent but had Kentucky sign a financial aid commitment; supposedly this means that Kentucky is committed to him but that he could still pull out.  I can’t see Cleveland Melvin getting away with that.

Melvin is choosing between Rutgers, Marshall, DePaul and perhaps Seton Hall.  Some sources say that Seton Hall has stopped pursuing Melvin, yet the Pirates still seem to be on his final list.
